The Sugar Mas 51, St Kitts and Nevisโ most awaited and most anticipated carnival, has opened with a grand affair on December 2, 2022. Following this, St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee have revealed the names of the eight federation competitors competing for the crown at the Republic Bank Talented Teen Pageant.
The eight talented teens competing for the title are as follows:

The contestants have been selected from various high schools across the federation. The first contestant, ๐๐๐ก๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ซ๐๐ฒ is the Miss Basseterre High School. She was brought up as a Christian. She reveals that one of her favourite books is the Bible. Her Christian education at the Seventh Day Adventist Primary nurtured her passion for this book.
Contestant No 2, to compete in the Talented Teen Pageant, CaJoy, proudly attends the Washington Archibald High School and is also the winner of the school pageant. She is in 5A1, gearing up to complete 9 CSEC subjects. When she isnโt dancing or studying, CaJoy is listening to music or painting. Inevitably, her goal is to become a professional dancer.
Contestant 3, Miss Charles E. Mills Secondary School, is a spirited individual who loves spending quality time with her family and friends. Her petite stature does not deter her great desires, as she aspires to be a lawyer, becoming an ally in creating equality and justice for all in her spare time.
Contestant No 4, Miss Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, Maleah, believes that everyone has the power to create harmony between their responsibilities and therefore finds time daily to do the things that bring pleasure, personal fulfilment and rejuvenation into their life.
Miss Gingerland Secondary School, Contestant #5, encapsulates the true definition of vibrancy and talent. Her vibrant personality illuminates the darkest of rooms. Currently, Hadassah is a 5th-form student at the Gingerland Secondary School, the home of the Panthers. She aspires to complete eight CSEC subjects successfully. At the end of her tenure, Hadassah wishes to become an elite performer.
The sixth Contestant to compete in the talented teen pageant and Miss Cayon High School, Brenna is no stranger to academic achievement and honours. She has produced elite work since enrolling at Cayon High School and attained an honour roll certificate every term. Additionally, she is a part of the schoolโs choir, environmental club, and netball team and a part-time athlete for her beloved Blue House Thunder.
The penultimate contestant #7, of the talented teen pagent Miss Immaculate Conception Catholic School, Makaila quite suitable as she loves seafood and has pledged to protect the environment and waterways, which are home and protection for her sumptuous and delicious meals.
Makailaโs future aspiration finds her nestled in a place where she can make the world a better place by playing a significant role in strengthening confidence in individuals and expanding her business opportunities to operate in a local, regional and international space.
The final Contestant Miss Verchilds High School, Determination and ambition are hallmark qualities of Takyla Hart Johnson. Takyla feels ecstatic and honoured about representing Verchilds High School in the 2022 Talented Teen Pageant. She stated that the teachers and administration saw something special in her and she is committed to meeting their expectations and exceeding them. Her motto is โDo it now, not laterโ, coined by her and serves as a reminder that we must capitalize upon our present opportunities.
