Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWIL) has revealed the names of the organisation’s new executive team for its St. Kitts and Nevis National Chapter. The executive lineup will serve in their positions for the term of 2026–2028. 

The organisation has shared that the new team of executives is responsible for bringing in a new period of service, mentorship and women’s leadership development. The Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWIL) highlighted that the growth of the St. Kitts Chapter is crucial for the organisation.

The authorities have shared that they have chosen the members of the executive team in light of their past experiences and contribution to the organisation. The organisation has been dedicated to making sure that the role of women in leadership remains prominent.   

The incoming executive comprises:

– Anessa Hazelle, who has been appointed as Chairperson

– Catharine Seabrookes-Winson has been appointed as the Vice-Chair

– Merv-Ann Thompson has been appointed as the Secretary

– Elsie Harry will serve as the Public Relations Officer

– Latoya Fyefield-Jones will join the team of officers at Treasurer

The St Kitts and Nevis chapter of the Caribbean Women in leadership is guided by the values of inclusiveness, sisterliness, accountability and integrity. The team is working on a mission to advance Caribbean women in leadership at national and regional levels. 

The group of women works on this mandate with advocacy, partnerships, mentorship, training and development.

The appointment of the new executive is expected to help strengthen opportunities for women to lead. The team will build meaningful partnerships and support initiatives that encourage women across St. Kitts and Nevis to thrive.

The people of St. Kitts and Nevis have also congratulated the members of the executive for their appointment. They have extended best wishes on the success of the team’s two year tenure.
