St Kitts and Nevis has been named among the Top 20 Islands in the Caribbean & Atlantic in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards. CN Traveller is a popular, well read and respectable publication. The readers of the magazine name some of the most visited and most popular spots across the world for the readers choice awards.

The twin island federation being named among the top twenty islands in the Caribbean and Atlantic is a matter of pride for the tourism stakeholders. St. Kitts Tourism Authority has shared the welcome announcement on their social media. The post shared by the SKTA extends gratitude to the people who have visited the island and loved it.

The officials have shared that the credit for this  development also goes to the people of the island who extend their hospitality and warmth to the people who visit the island.

The island has been gaining popularity among travellers from several parts of the world for its understated, hidden gem-esque offerings. The island has been welcoming travellers looking for a peaceful vacation.

The 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards is in its 29th edition and for the last two years, the results of the reader’s choice award have been completely based on votes of the magazine readership. The officials have shared that the awards of this nature are proof that the trip is still considered an immersive experience.

Each vote from the readership of the magazine shows up in the form of a cherished memory or  a moment that the traveler carried from their travels of the different parts of the world.

The votes that decide the results of the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards honor not only the destination but the people who made the trip memorable. The enjoyment of a traveller can be measured in the work that the other stakeholders put into making the stay enjoyable.

The popularity and quality of a destination can often be measured from the reception that a traveller may receive from the people working in the tourism and allied industries creating the atmosphere for the travel to explore, experience and enjoy the offerings of the island in peace.

As such, the honor of being one of the Top 20 Islands in the Caribbean & Atlantic belongs to St. Kitts and nevis due to the hard work, dedication and hospitality of its tour and taxi operators, its chefs, its tour guides and its people who make the island welcoming and warm for its visitors.
