The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has hosted the inaugural edition of the annual scholarship ceremony, Caring Hands, Supporting our Children. The Prime Minister Dr Drew represents Constituency Number 8, in the national assembly of St Kitts and Nevis.
The Prime Minister took to his social media account to share some glimpses from the inaugural edition of the scholarship ceremony. The Prime Minister and his team working in the country’s administration have been working diligently to support the country’s young generation in all their pursuits.
The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew gave proof of his committment to the cause of promoting education in the federation by hosting the first edition of the scholarship programme for the benefit of the students. The event was hosted at the National Heroes Park in Conaree, Saint Kitts and Nevis, on Wednesday, August 30.
The Prime Minister shared some images of the event on his social media. The event was named apty, “Caring Hands Supporting Our Children” as throughout the programme, PM Drew and his team have been working on celebrating the achievements and accomplishments of 63 bright young students of his constituency who are attending primary and secondary educational institutions across the federation.
The Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew, has notably advocated children’s education. His effort to promote the growth and welfare of the children of his community has been apparent in his attempt to host the inaugural edition of the “Caring Hands Supporting Our Children” scholarship.
The Prime Minister has remained engaged in such endeavours for all the years. The Prime Minister regularly provides scholarships to support the dreams and aspirations of the people of his community. However, “Caring Hands Supporting Our Children” is being considered one of the biggest endeavours till date.
This year, Dr. Terrance Drew and his team have offered the largest number of scolarships this year.
