The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew recently shared his administration’s new initiative to assist the parents of the school-going children who are starting school in September for the new school term. The government of St Kitts and Nevis has been working diligently for the country’s people.
The Prime Minister expressed his delight on starting the Back-to-School Voucher Initiative. He took to his social media account to announce the initiative. The leadership of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has shared some important information for the benefit of the country’s people.
Dr Terrance Drew stated that the Back-to-School Voucher Initiative aims to support families and students preparing for the upcoming school year. The prime minister announced that the initiative is set to begin on Thursday, August 24th, 2023.
The initiative is one of the government’s most in-demand and important gestures for the island’s people. The Back-to-School Voucher Initiative will run through to the next Friday, September 29th, 2023, and will provide a voucher value of EC$250 per child to assist with back-to-school expenses.
The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, has made efforts to promote and support the country’s students through various financial and similar initiatives. In line with this, the Back-to-School Voucher Initiative will be received with open arms by the people of the country.
The prime minister stated that this initiative is open to primary and secondary school students who are enrolled to study in the public learning institutions in the twin island Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. The beneficiaries of the initiative can be aged between 4 to 16.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew claridied that they will launcg the application platform for the initiative, www.backtoschool.gov.kn, launched at midnight on Thursday, August 24th, 2023.
