Dr Terrance Drew, newly elected Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, shared glimpses from the Swearing-In Ceremony held at the government office in St Kitts. The swearing-in ceremony was held on Saturday, August 6, one day after the successful conclusion of the General Elections. 

In the swearing-in Ceremony, held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, Dr Terrance Drew and his comrades of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) were sworn in as the Prime Minister and the ministerial cabinet, respectively. 

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared glimpses from the event ceremony, featuring the elected candidates of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), 

Constituency One: Geoffery Hanley

Constituency Two: Marsha Handerson

Constituency Three: Konris Maynard

Constituency Four: Samal Duggins

Constituency Six: Dr Denzil L. Doughlas and Prime Minister Elect Dr Terrance Drew.

Along with the pictures, the newly elected Prime Minister also shared a caption on his Facebook profile. 

The caption read: 

“Today, we celebrate the victory of the A-Team (The St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party). This victory further signals readiness to better our nation and people ‘For the Good That We Can Do’ with people-oriented programmes and policies.”

St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) registered a clear and indisputable victory in the election, winning six out of eight constituencies the political party had contested. The prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, was elected for the general assembly from Constituency #8. 

Following the political party’s monumental victory in St Kitts and Nevis General Elections, the Leader of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) and the recently elected Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, formally announced Monday, August 8, 2022, a national holiday.

The announcement of the national holiday was made as a part of the celebration of the SKNLP following the political party’s victory in the General Elections.
