The Concerned Citizens Movement hosted a “CCM Victory Rally” following their clean sweep victory in all the constituencies of the Nevis region.
According to the election results declared by the Supervisor of Elections, Mr Elvin Bailey, the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) managed to get themselves elected in all three seats their leaders were contesting for in Nevis.
The leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) and the returning Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, had nominated himself from Constituency #9 in Nevis. The Concerned Citizens Movement nominated the former Minister of Culture, Eric Evelyn, from Constituency #10 and Constituency #11’s Alexis Jeffers won a tight battle with his competitor to get himself elected from the constituency.
Following the historic victory and re-election of the leaders of the Concerned Citizens Movement in Nevis, the political party arranged for a CCM Victory Rally on Sunday, August 7, 2022. The Victory Rally was organised a day after the results of the general elections hosted in St Kitts and Nevis were declared.
The leaders of the winning political party kick started the CCM victory rally with a motorcade that began at 3:00 PM from Samuel Hankins Drive in Nevis and was supposed to go through Jessups.
The Political Party also hosted further Celebrations of their clean-sweep victory in the constituencies of Nevis at Caribbean Cove starting from 7:00 PM onward.
The celebratory event was hosted by DJ Woodis and featured many of the local artists and talents, including New Level, Bobby and Toby, Deejay Smudge, Akaii Usweet, Blackstone Family and Grand Masters Band.
The information regarding the line-up of the events was shared by the leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement on his Facebook account, where he shared a poster with the details of the events along with a caption that read:
It is happening TODAY at 3 PM on Hunkins Drive. Come motorcade with us as we say THANK YOU, Nevis, for sticking and staying with the Big Blue Machine! And when we are done, join us for a HUGE after-party at Caribbean Cove!!
