The Department of Youth Empowerment in St Kitts has announced the plan to host a Youth Entrepreneurial Advancement Scheme. The scheme aims to build the country’s entrepreneurial capacity for young entrepreneurs. The event is open to the young population of St Kitts between 17 and 35. The Department of Youth Empowerment, St Kitts, has announced the initiative to benefit the island’s youth population.
The official account of the Department of Youth Empowerment shared information about the initiative. They shared that the seminar will be held from July 17 to July 21. The Newtown Community Centre will serve as the five-day event venue. At the end of the seminar, the eligible persons can win a share of EC$10,000. The forum will serve as an informative and educational initiative aimed at the overall development of the country’s youth.
During the 2023 edition of the Youth Entrepreneurial Advancement Scheme, Participants will have valuable lessons in a variety of disciplines, including:

- Budgeting
- Financial Planning
- Pitching Your Business
- Sustainability
- Writing a winning proposal
- Creating a Niche Product
- Marketing
- Advertising and Research
- Self-Employment vs Launching a Business
- The Role of Social Media.
The Department of youth empowerment shared that Brandy Williams Limited, based in the United Kingdom, will facilitate the Youth Entrepreneurial Advancement Scheme. In line with this, they announced that registration for the seminar opened on Thursday, June 1, 2023, and it will close on Friday, July 7.
Meanwhile, the St Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment team deeply thanks BW Limited for funding this seminar. They also extended their appreciation to the other Youth Entrepreneurial Advancement Scheme partners. The Department shared that they are grateful to the other partners who have come on board, including the Small Business Development Centre, St Kitts.
The event will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for five days, starting from July 7 to July 21. The team of St Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment has invited the people to register for the opportunity.
