The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Geoffrey Hanley, the Constituency representative for the East Basseterre Labour Branch, met with constituents on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The meeting was a part of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Monthly Branch Meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister Hanley took the opportunity to address the issues and concerns of Constituency Number 1, East Basseterre. He also shared a detailed account of the proceedings of the constituency meetings. Dr Hankey shared that he addressed an array of concerns regarding development in the community of East Basseterre and, by extension, the country during the evening meeting.

The monthly meeting took place at the Tucker Clarke Primary school. All the constituents of East Basseterre are invited to share their issues with their parliamentary representative. In line with this, the Parliamentary representative of Constituency 1, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, gave detailed updates on his work in the community and constituency. He also took the opportunity to respond satisfactorily to each person’s questions.

Taking to his social media account, Dr Geoffrey Hanley shared that it was certainly a productive evening spent with the great people of East Basseterre. The Deputy Prime Minister shared several glimpses from the event on his social media account. The meeting occurs monthly, and Dr Hanley shares regular updates on his social media.

During the meeting, the parliamentary representative engages with the members of his constituency to remain updated about the issues of the people of his constituency. Dr Hanley also shares updates on his works and initiatives on social media. The meetings take place between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
