Conclave and The Brutalist took home four awards each at the BAFTA Awards 2025. The 78th edition of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) were held at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, February 16th, 2025. The Awards ceremony is hosted to celebrate the best of world cinema.
Conclave, directed by Edward Berger (German director), won four awards, including Best Film and Best British Film. The Brutalist, by Brady Corbet also won four awards, including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Original Score and Cinematography awards.
Emilia Perez (French musical) won the Best Film Not in the English Language against Payal Kapadia’s film, All We Imagine as Light. The movie also lost the French Musical earlier at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
