Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas and St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (Constituency #6 Branch) is all set to host a Soca Workout Session at St Paul’s New Sporting Complex on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025.
The session will start at 6:00 pm and will run through 8:00 pm. It will include high energy workouts with top instructors on live Soca beats by Xtortion Sounds, DJ Shaggy, and New Wave Sounds. The instructors participating in the workout session will be Nash, MZ. Fit-Physique, Wayne “Cuthie” Clarke, and De Cattle.
To provide the attendees with the awareness about role of physical movement for healthy living, the organizers have also planned several other activities and interacting sessions.
Moreover, there will be hydration stations, and light refreshments for the participants. The interested locals are advised to dress in comfortable attires like sweatpants and loose shirts.
Minister Douglas promotes healthy lifestyle
Minister Denzil Douglas have been continuously promoting health and fitness, calling a healthy lifestyle the key to a happy, prosperous, and longer life. The main aim of the Soca workout session is to promote exercise for an active physical and mental state of body.
He also called out to the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis to adopt healthy practices, including regular workouts and balanced diet to reduce the risk of disease, and benefit the overall environment.

The installation of new medical equipment at the JNF General Hospital, including surgical eye laser machines, CT and MRI scan machines, shows the investment made by the government in the healthcare sector.
The hospital also appointed several specialists, such as Neurologist, Endocrinologist, Urologist, Nephrologist, and Radiologist, to provide better services to the citizens and residents of the twin island nation.
The staff and professionals at the hospital were also provided with specialized emergency training which was led by the Ministry of Health, as a part of their medical advancement plan.
