Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew hosted ‘Breakfast of Love’ to celebrate post-valentine’s with the citizens of constituency #8 in CARICOM village, St Peter’s Parish on Saturday, February 15th, 2025.
PM Drew appreciated and thanked all those who were part of the celebrations and shared some glimpses on his official Facebook page. He stated that they had a wonderful time of togetherness at Constituency #8’s post-valentine’s breakfast and health screening.
The photos shared by him, showed local food producers and shop owners interacting with each other. PM Dr Terrance Drew also said that the breakfast was a great way of engaging with the citizens of the constituency.
Valentine’s day is celebrated between lovers to show their love, care and togetherness. The breakfast hosted by PM Drew on this occasion showcased his love for his citizens and nation.
This breakfast showcased the government’s commitment of promoting local cuisine through a sustainable agenda and 25 by 25 mission of St Kitts and Nevis.

The main objective of this initiative is to reduce the food import bills by 25% by 2025. The main aim of this initiative is to promote self-sufficiency and increase local food production to develop the agriculture sector and increase local farmers’ access to global markets.

Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources, Samal Duggins, met with local farmers on Saturday, February 8th, 2025. The aim of his visits was to promote agricultural development.
Minister Duggins toured several farms during his visits, including natural and home-grown, and discussed ways with the farmers to enhance their products and increase their market share.
The visits showed the government’s commitment in reducing the Federation’s dependence on foreign products, advancing the local economy and the agricultural sector.
