St Kitts and Nevis has secured several crucial partnerships to facilitate development initiatives in the country. Currently in Grenada for the 4th AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum, St Kitts and Nevis has secured a US $50 Million Partnership with AFREXIM Bank.

These funds will be used for the development of the social infrastructure of the country. The funds will help the government in developing climate resilient and sustainable education infrastructure. Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture has signed a Letter of Interest with the AFREXIM Bank in the country amounting to US $40 Million.

The funding that the Ministry of Agriculture has secured will be utilized in the construction of the Agriculture Port. Both the pieces of funding secured in collaboration with international partners will help the nation achieve their development goals.

The funds which will be used  for the “Education Construction and Rehabilitation Climate-Linked Facility,” will help St Kitts and Nevis give  students access to state of the art learning spaces. Further the funds which have been earmarked for the agriculture port will help in improving agriculture trade and business to and from the federation.

The administration is dedicated to taking advantage of all the opportunities for development of the country. The country has been working hard to make a mark in the international business sectors.

The investments from the St Kitts and Nevis government and international partners are both designed to help in stimulating the economy of the country. Both these projects are expected to deliver a boost to the economy of the nation.

International partnerships also serve as a means to increase the visibility of St Kitts and Nevis in the international community. The investments and funds that have been utilized for these projects will also begin to yield returns.

The support and involvement of international partners is also proof of the international community is showing interest in working with the country

The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew was delighted to partner with AFREXIM Bank for development initiatives in the country.
