St Kitts and Nevis resident Leonessa Claxton has achieved First-Class Honours in the Bachelor of Science in Professional Policing from Birmingham City University. The university under which the young national has secured her degree is one of the United Kingdom’s most respected educational institutions.
The youngster, Leonessa Claxton has been described as a talented, dedicated and disciplined young girl who has excelled in her academic education. She has worked very hard to achieve her degree in law enforcement education with the highest honors.
The youngster is extremely dedicated to her field of education and has made her home country proud with her achievement. During her degree, she achieved the highest commendations in criminal justice theory to operational leadership.
She has consistently performed well throughout her academic career even though she had to move to a completely new and completely different country. Her dedication to her education is such that she managed to deal with settling into a new country and maintaining her grades throughout her degree. The whole nation is celebrating this victory on the behalf of the young girl who has made her family, friends, and community proud.
Her knowledge in the field of policing will help her in contributing to the development of Policing in St Kitts and Nevis. Her acquired knowledge in best practices, analytical skills, and fresh perspective can be used as assets to add to the existing national security infrastructure.
The members of the government, especially representatives from the Ministry of National Security have congratulated Leonessa Claxton on this achievement. Additionally, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Denzil Douglas also congratulated Claxton for finishing her Bachelor of Science in Professional Policing from Birmingham City University with first class honors.
Upon her return Claxton has hoped that she will be able to work for the betterment of her country and contribute to strengthening the security of St Kitts and Nevis. Leonessa Claxton will be a source of inspiration for young women across the federation who want to work with justice, national security and policing.
