The Former and Longest Serving Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas has announced his candidacy for constituency 6 in the upcoming general elections. The elections are constitutionally due in the year 2027.
The announcement was made after a townhall meeting convened on Tuesday, September 16, 2026. Officials have confirmed that the townhall meeting was attended by several members of the community in Constituency 6.
