Political leaders and Ministers of the Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis have applauded Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew for helping an elderly co-passenger on his flight back home to St Kitts and Nevis.
Reportedly, the timely intervention from Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew saved the older man’s life. He had a medical episode on the flight and became unresponsive on the flight.

The patient was with the Prime Minister on his flight from Florida. The flight attendant announced a request for help from anyone with medical expertise on the flight. The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, a Cuban and US-trained internal medicine specialist, offered his services to assist the older man. He went into action quickly and quickly rendered assistance.
The Prime Minister, along with the flight staff, eventually managed to resurrect the person. Following this, Prime Minister Dr Drew advised that the man be taken off the flight and properly examined at a specialized institution.
According to media sources, the flight staff took the man to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.
Following the incident, The flight’s crew, passengers, and the patient’s family thanked PM Dr Drew for his medical intervention, which most likely saved the man’s life.
At the time, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew stated, “My life is one of service.” He further restated his readiness and willingness to serve in whatever area he can offer his expertise.
Dr Terrance Drew was on a 4-day state trip to the republic of china (Taiwan). A high-level delegation of Ministers and government officials accompanied the Prime Minister.
