The newly elected prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people and election workers of Constituency #8, Election Workers from the districts of Cayon/Ottley’s, Keys, Conaree and St. Peter’s.
He thanked them for their commitment and hard work as election workers. He wrote on his Facebook account, “Thank you, thank you, thank you for your commitment, dedication and WORK. For the Good, We Can Do’, there was the goal of giving St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party a clear mandate for the betterment of our people and nation, and your efforts helped tremendously in the massive victory of the August 5, 2022, general elections.”
The Deputy Prime Minister and member of St Kitts and Nevis general assembly from constituency #1 Geoffery Hanley, also took to his Facebook account to applaud the efforts of the election workers for the successful execution of the election process. He did so by means of a series of events throughout the weekend.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to his team for their hard work and dedication over the years, particularly during the election campaign.
While talking about a “special service” held on Sunday, August 21, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Hanley stated, “I am so grateful to have had the East Basseterre Executive members, campaign team, Election Day Volunteers, and other comrades worshipping with me at the “Resurrection and life church”.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister extended thanks to the AG, Garth Wilkin and Ambassadors Leon Natta-Nelson and H.E Kenneth Douglas for gracing us with their presence. What a fantastic time we had just worshipped the Lord together.
He maintained that he was thankful for every opportunity to praise the Almighty God, but he pointed out that today’s (August 21) service was particularly moving.
Cabinet Minister and elected St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party representative for Constituency #2- Marsha Henderson, also ended her eventful week with a donation to the Wings of Love Preschool on Friday, August 19.
