The federation of St Kitts and Nevis is now hours away from the Election Day. On Thursday, August 4, 2022, the major political parties of the country hosted tremendous “last rallies” ahead of the elections for the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis.
The various political parties shared the information regarding their events on their social media accounts, stressing the importance of the upcoming elections for the country’s future and its residents and citizens.
The Concerned Citizens Movement hosted a “final rally” at Caribbean Cove on August 4, with several supporters of the CCM attending the event to support the political party. The political party leaders urged their supporters to vote, saying that “tomorrow, the people had serious business to take care of,” while also reminding them that they had to cast their vote from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The political party urged the attendees to vote for the CCM in the elections.
The Concerned Citizens Movement’s “One Movement” Partners also hosted a “Campaign Touchdown” at Sandy Point.
The People’s Action Movement (PAM) hosted the event to “Thank god for the victory” ahead of the elections in the country. The event featured a number of talented artists, musicians and entertainers, along with the leaders of the political party. They urged their supporters to vote for them in the upcoming elections.
The People’s Labour Party (PLP) hosted a “Final Countdown Rally” in Greenlands Pasture ahead of the general elections, where the leaders and candidates of the PLP interacted with the rally attendees, urging and encouraging them to cast their votes in a peaceful and safe environment. They reminded the attendees of their promise to deliver a secure future for the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party hosted a “final SKNLP campaign rally” at Taylor’s on August 4, 2022. The political party shared glimpses showcasing the success of the rally. Ahead of “freedom Day“, the political party urged their supporters to vote for them and ensure that the governance of the country was in the right hands.
In the weeks leading up to the federal elections, the major political parties, political leaders and nominated candidates have hosted rallies and campaigned in different parts of the country. They have interacted with the residents and citizens and made a number of promises to the people for the country’s welfare in their respective election manifestos.
Now, the elections are only a handful of hours away, and the country’s fate and its future rest on its people.
