The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, who handles the responsibility for the Ministry of Health in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, took to his official social media account to share an update about the Health of the baby and recieved life-saving medical treatment as a part of the Ministry of Health initiative to provide critical healthcare to the children whose parents can not afford the medical treatment.

Dr Terrance Drew announced this initiative on behalf of the Ministry of Health, noting that all children must get access to critical healthcare, despite the economic condition of St Kitts and Nevis. The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis shared that the child got life-saving cardiac surgery under Children’s Health Programme established under the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party administration.

As per Dr Drew, the one-year-old recieved his treatment at Health City Cayman Islands, a medically advanced tertiary hospital in Grand Cayman. Following the successful surgery and recovery of the child, he returned to the federation. Dr Terrance Drew recieved the mother of the one-year-old who benefitted from the government’s initiative.

She provided the Prime Minister and Minister of Health with an update regarding the Health and wellness of her child. Prime Minister Drew shared the meeting update with the mother on his social media account. He also expressed his excitement, noting that the surgery was successful and that the baby was happy and healthy.

He further expressed his sincere gratitude to the mother of the baby, who stopped by for a short visit to update me on the success. He wished them both the best and expressed that he was elated that her baby could receive the necessary medical care. Social media users have also applauded the government’s initiative to provide much-needed medical treatments. They also extended their best wishes to the child for a good future.
