The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, attended the 2022 edition of St Kitts and Nevis Trades and Labour Union SKNTLU Conference. The SKNTLU hosted the conference under the theme “The Time to Rebuild is Now”.

During the conference, the Trade and Labour Union awarded seven members for their longstanding service within the Union.

These individuals were awarded for their unwavering and dedicated service in the Trades and Labour Union for the several decades in which they served the Trade and Labour Union.

Several of them were members of the SKNTLU since its inception in 1940.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew took to his Facebook account to share glimpses of the event. In the post, He revealed the names of the seven awardees recognized during the event for their services to the federation.

The seven awardees were Ms Eva Henderson, Mr Sydney Bridgewater, Mr Stanley Frank’s Jr., Mr George Dixon, Mr James Pemberton, Mr Mitchel Slader, and Ms Charlotte Salters.

Additionally, the Prime Minister also attended to several other commitments in his capacity as the head of state of St Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew met with the Director of MSR Media, Phillipe Martinez, and Actress Elizabeth Hurley to discuss the film production work which is in progress in the twin-island federation.

Further, Prime Minister Drew also attended the 17th Annual Cuban Alumni Classes; 2020, 2021 & 2022 Graduation Ceremony, which was held at the Cuna Conference Room.

In the graduation ceremony, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Dr Geoffery Hanley and the Junior Minister of Education in the Nevis Island Administration, Troy Liburd.

During the event, these leaders expressed their gratitude to Cuba for helping to develop the human resource of the nation.
