St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have ended their streak of losses with the performance of Jason Holder and Kyle Myers. The officials have shared that the two cricketers added a crucial 55-runs to the total of the Patriots during their standoff with Barbados Royals.

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots put up a respectable total of 174 for the loss of 8 wickets during their recent match. The match started with the Patriots batting after Barbados Royals elected to field, the Patriots slipped up during the earlier overs of the play.

The first three wickets of the match fell during the powerplay overs, with Evin Lewis, Rilee Rossouw and Mohammad Rizwan returning to the pavilion. The next wicket came in the form of Andre Fletcher who had played an inning of 25 runs in 16 balls.

Fletcher scored three boundaries and a single maximum during his time on the crease but lost his wicket in the ninth over. The next few overs were played by Jason Holder and Kyle Myers who revived the Patriots to make way for their second victory in the tournament.

In the 12th over, Holder scored a massive 15 runs while Kofi James was bowling and Myers faced Nyeem Young in a 13 run 13th over adding to the total of the Patriots.

Myers lost his wicket to Eathan Bosch and the wickets kept falling for the Patriots throughout the match. Abbas Afridi from the Patriots struck two sixes against the Royals and Naseem Shah also struck two maximums in the final over.

The same trajectory of wicket losses was recreated for the Barbados Royals when they lost their first two wickets during powerplay and the third in the 9th over.

Quinton de Kock and Brandon King were not able to match up to the performance after the beginning which was less than ideal. Holder took two quick wickets during the 17th over of the match

The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots eventually ended their stint by defending their target by 12 runs by the end of the match.
