Haynes Smith Youth Club has appointed Essi Gaston, Lizca Bass, and Daneika Dickenson into their Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Committee. The appointment has been made ahead of the much anticipated 44th edition of the pageant.
The officials have shared that the new appointments are expected to improve the 2026 edition of the pageant. The organisation has shared that all the new appointments come with experiences and expertise.
All three women have worked within the pageantry, education, performing arts, production, administration, and youth development. The appointment highlights the sped up works for the organisation of the pageant.
The Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant has served as a platform for youth talent, cultural expression, confidence-building, and regional unity. The first appointment came in the form of Essi Gaston. She is a former Queen of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant and has been working as a choreographer, and respected educator.
Gaston has been appointed the Assistant Executive Director and Producer and will contribute to policy direction. She will work in supporting production planning, and help ensure a seamless and high-quality presentation.
Since she is a former holder of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen title, and has worked as a choreographer, she can significantly improve the staging of the pageant.
The second person who was appointed into the committee was Lizca Bass. She is a performing arts and stage management expert, as well as an educator. Bass will oversee key areas of creative, operational, and logistical excellence. She will supervise the stage activities and support the smooth execution of production elements, and ensure that safety, timing, efficiency, and production standards are maintained throughout the Pageant process.
The final appointment was that of Daneika Dickenson who was crowned Miss National Carnival Queen in 2024-25. Dickenson will serve as Social Media Administrator and Contestant & Accommodation Coordinator. As part of her job, she will help improve the Pageant’s online presence, She will also work on improving digital audience engagement, and manage contestant relations, and coordinating accommodation logistics.
