Dr Denzil Douglas, who is the Parliamentary Representative for Constituency 6, extended his condolences on the death of a resident of Dieppe Bay, Caroline Caines. Caines passed away a centenarian after living a long and healthy life supported by her family.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs extended his condolences on Sunday, December 28 and reached out to the family of the deceased. The Minister confirmed that the centenarian was a beloved member of the community of Dieppe bay.
She was popular among the residents of the Back Street (Aunt Car Street) of the historical French Town of Dieppe Bay, Cappisterre. The Minister took to his social media to share the message of sadness for the people of the island.
The passing of the centenarian has been a sad affair for the people of the community. The Minister expressed hope for the fact that her journey onwards will be smooth and peaceful.
The Minister also prayed for the peace of the matriarch who has played an important role in the development of the island nation. The Minister has also extended his condolences to the family and friends.
The Minister posted, May the journey be peaceful and may she be welcomed with praise and thanksgiving as the Wisemen received the Chrischild on his Birth.
