The cruise week in St Kitts and Nevis has begun with the arrival of two ships at Port Zante carrying over 5,300 passengers. Norwegian Breakaway and the Silver Dawn docked on the shores of the island for Sunday kicking off another successful week of cruise arrivals for the island. The first of the two cruise ships brought 4,681 passengers on board. The Norwegian Breakaway sailed into St Kitts from St Maarten and sailed out of the island after finishing their single day dock.
The second ship, Silver Dawn sailed into St Kitts with 656 passengers from United States Virgin Islands. The ship later sailed out to Guadeloupe after spending a day in St Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that most of the passengers who came into St Kitts and Nevis came to the port and explored the island at their leisure.
The people enjoyed sunbathing on the beach, visiting several popular spots around the island nation. The small businesses across St Kitts had the opportunity to showcase their offerings to the visitors.
The double cruise day was the beginning of the week and more multi cruise days are scheduled for the rest of the week. AIDAblu, Zuiderdam, and the Seven Seas Marina are scheduled to be in port on Monday.
