Apple Syder Continues Passenger Outreach Following Rescue Operation

The officials from the Apple Syder management reached out to the passengers who were part of the journey at the time of the June 29 incident.  The management has been talking to the people and hearing their experience after the incident. 

The ferry organisation has shared that they have already contacted some of the passengers and taken stock of their safety and experience. The incident happened soon after departing Basseterre, on the morning of Monday, June 29. 

The Apple Syder vessel encountered difficulties at sea and called for help. The swift and orderly response from rescue teams and crew from another vessel, all passengers and crew members were safely transferred to assisting vessels.

The incident did not result  in any injuries as per the official report shared by the government and national security stakeholders. The management of the Ferry Service as well as the government has been regularly involved in investigation and assessment after the incident happened​. 

The management has shared that they place significant value in the experience of their passengers. As such, they have been making efforts to reach out to each and every passenger personally. 

The Management has confirmed that they have gotten in touch with some of the passengers while they are yet to speak to other passengers. The company has urged passengers to get in touch with them to share their experience if the company has not been able to reach them till now

This gesture is in line with maintaining strong business to customer ties as the management continues to investigate the cause of the incident. Notably, the management has recieved support from the people of the island in the aftermath of the accident. 

The people have extended their understanding to the management of the ferry service and opined that accidents cann happen to anyone. 

Furthermore, the Apple Syder team has extended sincere gratitude to the local captains, crews, and maritime personnel who assisted in facilitating the transfer, as well as to our own crew for their professional and calm execution of our safety procedures.
