The Republic of China (Taiwan) has made a donation to the Joy Project, to support the organisation in their programmes and support initiatives. The organization has extended their generous contribution from the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to directly support The Joy Project.
Notably, the organisation has been working diligently to support the people of the island. The programmes and initiatives started by the organisation are aimed towards supporting women, children, and the elderly.
The donation will help the organisation in expanding their reach and deepen the impact across St. Kitts and Nevis. The Joy Project announced the details of the donation on their social media on Wednesday.
The organisation said that the generous donation has been made in support of its mission to empower, uplift, and create lasting opportunities for vulnerable members of the community.
The organisation has also extended their sincere gratitude to the government and embassy of Taiwan for their support. The Joy project acknowledged the long standing relationship between St Kitts and Nevis and The Republic of China (Taiwan). They also highlighted the nation’s constant support for the growth of the island.
“Taiwan has long been a generous and valued partner to St. Kitts and Nevis, consistently supporting initiatives that strengthen our communities and improve the lives of our people. We are deeply appreciative that this same spirit of partnership and generosity has also been extended to The Joy Project,” the group said in a statement.
The donation was presented by. Madeline Liao on behalf Ambassador of Taiwan to St Kitts and Nevis, Ambassador Edward Ling-Wen Tao, “reflecting the Embassy’s continued commitment to supporting charitable organizations and community development initiatives throughout the Federation.”
“We extend our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for its generosity, partnership, and confidence in our mission,” The Joy Project said in a formal statement.
