Nevis: Keyana Warner, the Caribbean Junior Minister has returned to her hometown, Nevis, to her celebratory welcome at the Charlestown Ferry Terminal. She has recently been titled the winner for the 20th Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) Regional Tourism Youth Congress.
Young Keyana of the Charlestown Secondary School took a part in the CTO Youth Congress which was scheduled on September 5th, 2024 and took place at the Cayman Islands.
Significantly, the teenager delivered an interesting presentation at the Youth Congress which resulted in beating the eleven other young tourism advocates from across the region.
On her return to Nevis, Keyana Warner was greeted by the family, friends, classmates, teachers, and the officials from the Ministries of Tourism and Education in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), and the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA).
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, John Hanley extended congratulations to the young winner and noted how delighted the ministers were to bid a welcome to the nation’s own Youth Junior Tourism Minister who has made Nevis proud at the 2024 Tourism Youth Congress.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Zahnela Claxton joined Minister Hanley to extend wishes to Keyana Warner.
She stated that on behalf of all of them and all who worked with her from the Ministries of Tourism and Education, they commend and congratulate Miss Warner for a job well done. They expressed pride and said that they know that is much in store.
In addition to this, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley has also shared her victory through his official social media account and offered congratulations to the teenager’s achievement in the competition.
Notably, Keyana expressed appreciation and gratitude for the warm reception and for their kind words. She also extended thanks to everyone who supported her throughout the journey to the local and regional conferences.
“It is an honour to have this title and I am very thankful for it. I want to thank my team. We all did a great job and we did it,” said winner Keyana Warner.
