St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew has expressed delight in witnessing the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation at the St Peter’s Main Road.

PM Drew shared the glimpses of his visit and about the construction updates at the St Peters Road through his official social media account on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

While sharing the updates, he noted that he visited the ongoing rehabilitation of the St Peter’s Main Road and that he is very pleased to see the progress bring made.

Significantly, he also stated that the St Peters was denied a road by the previous administration in charge.

It is to be noted that the Public Works Department also recently shared the updates about the rehabilitation of the F.T. Williams Highway East and St Peter’s Main Road Project, which is being executed by the Rock and Dirt Ltd.

The authorities mentioned that the paving has commenced from the Airport Guard Hut and extends to the TDC Roundabout leading to Greenlands.

The Minister of the Public Infrastructure, Konris G M Maynard also shared about the updates being done on the project and noted that he is highly pleased to see the progress made so far on this massive capital  initiative as well.

The Public Works Department (PWD) and the Minister also enlightened the public noting that they are currently focused on a critical section that connects several major key points.

Notably, the Prime Minister has also said that the growth of the infrastructure in St Kitts and Nevis is significant which is a very positive sign for the nation.

In addition to this, the construction is under notable rapid progress and is being worked on with great efficiency. The ministers and authorities have urged the public to be patient as they continue to work diligently to enhance the road infrastructure in the St Peter’s area.
