St Kitts and Nevis celebrated International Teachers Day on September 5, 2023. The leaders have extended their best wishes to the teachers to commemorate the international occasion. PM Dr Terrance Drew also joined the various leaders of the country in congratulating the teachers on the occasion.
He took to his social media account to applaud and honour the teachers for their selfless service to the nation. Prime Minister Drew wrote in his social media post, “Today, we celebrate our teachers’ dedication, passion, and commitment. They shape the minds of our future leaders, instilling knowledge, values, and a love for learning.
He extended his best wishes to all the teachers who work tirelessly to inspire, empower, and uplift the students. PM Terrance Drew also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and noted, “Your impact goes far beyond the classroom, shaping the foundation of our nation’s progress.
The Prime Minister stated that his government wants to continue to invest in the education sector and support our incredible teachers. He said that together, the government and the teachers will succeed in building a brighter future for all. Alongside Dr Drew, the people of the country also took the opportunity to celebrate their teachers on this momentous occasion.
