The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the firefighters who were promoted to various ranks. The Minister of Social Security and National Security shared his appreciation for the officers’ achievements through social media.

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, 15 brave and dedicated firefighters were promoted to various ranks. The promotion ceremony served as a platform for recognizing their unwavering commitment to safeguarding our community. Dr Drew is responsible for managing the national security of the country.

The police and fire services of the country fall under his jurisdiction. Accordingly, Dr Terrance Drew announced the newly promoted officers’ names and the departments they are a part of after their promotions into the various offices.

Dr Terrance Drew shared on his social media account that the promotions reflect courage, dedication, and hard work. He added that the team of firefighters have consistently served the nation and its people with pride throughout their careers.
