The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, who handles the responsibility for the Ministries of education and gender affairs, recently took up to his social media account to share some glimpses of his work visits over the weekend on Sunday, March 19. First, he attended the celebratory church service to commemorate 34 years of the political career and national service of Dr Denzil Douglas.
After the conclusion of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Hanley attended the sports meet hosted by the Cayon Primary School at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex in Molineux. The two events the Deputy Prime Minister attended were held one after the other. Dr Hanley expressed that attending a church service to celebrate The Rt Honourable Dr Denzil Llewellyn Douglas’s 34 years of service was an absolute pleasure.
He noted that the event was followed immediately by a visit to the Cayon High School’s track meet. The sporting event was hosted under the theme “Go Faster, Go Further: The Future is near.” The social media users applauded the Minister of Education and youth empowerment, Geoffrey Hanley for taking the initiative to visit the Cayon High School Track meet. Dr Geoffrey Hanley interacted with the students and staff at the event.

Dr Denzil Douglas arranged for a celebratory church service to commemorate the occasion. On March 19, 2023, the service was attended by all St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party members. The attendants included several important delegations and people of St Kitts and Nevis. The Minister will complete 34 years of his political career on March 21, 2023.
