St Kitts is organizing a christmas community clean-up amid various other christmas themed celebrations. The island wide clean up excersize started on Friday, December 9, 2022 and ends on Monday, December 12, 2022.
The schedule for the cleanup drive across the eight constituencies in St Kitts are as follows:

Ahead of christamas celebrations observes all across St Kitts, the cleanliness drive was aimed at making the island clean. The Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency empowerment handles and organises the event. The Minister responsible for the ministries, Senator Joyelle Clarke took to her official social media page to inform the people of St Kitts about the event.
She wrote, on Friday November 9, 2022:
Today, the Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment is rolling out its Christmas Community Cleanup Campaign during the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Further, the update on her page revealed that the event aims to address environmental matters and stimulate economies within the communities by utilizing service providers like landscapers, bin disposal companies, heavy machine operators and truckers within each constituency.
The Cleanup is a joint effort among Parks and Beaches, the Skills Training Empowerment Program (STEP), and the Alternative Lifestyle Program.
