The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has taken to his social media account to invite the people of St Kitts and Nevis to the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party Requiem, where they will pay tribute to the fallen heroes and former leaders of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party. The event occurred on May 28, 2023, at the Unique Touch Christian Center in Claverly Hills Sandy Point, St Kitts.
All the leaders and politicians of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party attended the event. The leader of the political party, Dr Terrance Drew, shared the invitation with the country’s people. During the church service, the political party’s politicians, leaders, and workers took the opportunity to pay their tributes to the stalwarts and former leaders.
The event will be hosted under Transforming Lives, Creating Synergies for Increased Opportunities. The prime minister shared that the church service was hosted on Sunday, May 28. 2023 started from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During the event, the politicians, including Dr Terrance Drew and the other St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party members, shared their experiences from the occasions.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared that the political party has completed 91 years of service in the country. They have contributed significantly to the development of the country. They have introduced several crucial advancements to the infrastructure of the country.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party is the oldest labour movement in the English-speaking Caribbean. In commemorating 91 years of service to the nation, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and his fellow ministers paid tribute to their forefathers. Dr Drew took the stage to say a few words in tribute to the former leaders, stalwarts and legends associated with the labour movement.
Prime Minister Drew also shared some images from the event. The other politicians, including Deputy PM Geoffrey Hanley, Minister Samal Duggins and Konris Maynard, also paid tribute to the former leaders of the labour movement in the Caribbean.
