The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, took to his social media account to share an update regarding the annual Easter Egg Hunt event hosted by East Basseterre Youth on the Go. The event was hosted on Saturday, April 8, 2023 . The event served as a bonding experience for the children and the parents in his constituency.
The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis shared that the children who participated in the easter egg hunt had an exciting time at the event. He also shared several glimpses into the event on his social media. The Parliamentary representative of East Basseterre participated in the event before the Easter Sunday celebration.
The children who participated in the competition were required to ensure they got the most easter eggs. As per the contest rules, the child with the highest number of eggs will secure the prize for the most eggs found. The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Geoffrey Hanley, shared on his social media that the Youth office of his constituency has several gifts for the winners of the contests.
The gifts included exercise books, pens, pencils, toys, candies, snack boxes and eggs. In addition, four lucky winners of the raffle draw walked away with a scooter and three kites. Meanwhile, the children and parents participated in the prized picture-taking session with the Easter Bunny.
Dr Geoffrey Hanley thanked the parents for encouraging their children to participate in the easter egg hunt. He added that they enjoyed seeing the children participating and having a great time being part of the festivities. Dr Hanley also extended their appreciation to the organizers and volunteers.
