Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, recently took to his social media account to extend his best wishes to the athletes who are travelling to the Bahamas to travel to the Bahamas to represent St Kitts and Nevis at the 50th CARIFTA Games. The Prime Minister met with the athletes before they travelled to the Bahamas for the competition. He also extended his best wishes to the athletes.
The Prime Minister shared glimpses of the event on his social media account. The 50th CARIFTA Games are scheduled for April 7 to 10. Meanwhile, the Thomas Robinson Stadium will serve as the venue for the sports championship to be hosted in Nassau, Bahamas.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew received the athletes for the final time before they travelled to the Bahamas for the competition and wished for them to have a safe journey to the contest. Dr Drew hoped they would represent their home country well and make them proud on the regional level in the Caribbean.
One group of athletes travelled to the Bahamas on April 5, 2023; another group is set to travel for the competition on April 6, 2023. The people of St Kitts and Nevis came to the comment section of Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew’s post. They also extended their respective best wishes to the athletes who will represent the country at the regional platform at the CARIFTA Games.
The CARIFTA games will feature a variety of wide ranging competition for the participating caribbean nations, including several track and field events, such as high jump, javalin throw, shot put, Discus Throw, Triple Jump, Long Jump and more.
The social media users of St Kitts and Nevis extended their heartfelt good wishes for the athletes’ success on Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew’s post. One social media user, Elvis Caines wrote in the comment section: I pray that God will keep them save,, healthy and wishing them then success and the best of sportsmanship
Another social media user, who is also one of the athletes’ mother, also shared her best wishes for the team of St Kitts and Nevis Representatives. Amarel Richardson wrote: Congrats in advance My dearest children’s. She also added, Safe travels to all of you guys in Jesus name Ameñ and Amen.
