The St Kitts Water Services department is celebrating world water day on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The department is hosting the celebration of the event under the theme “Accelerating Change.” The department has recently taken to its social media account to share the schedule for activities to celebrate World Water Day.
Pre-Activities: Include the Primary Schools Door Competition
From Wednesday, March 1, to Friday, March 17, the high schools of St Kitts and Nevis will observe the TikTok Competition. The week of activities will start, Sunday, March 19. A Church Service will be held at the Rivers of Living Water Christian Minister’s Address at 9:00 AM. The minister of Public Utilities, Konris Maynard, will deliver an address. The address will be broadcast on ZIZ TV- at 8:00 PM.
Monday, March 20 & Tuesday, March 21, the Department of Water services will organize an Exhibition at the Laguerite Treatment Plant. The exhibition will start from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
On Wednesday, March 22, the St Kitts Water services Department will observe the world water day celebration. Under this, the department will host a Staff Health Fair from 7:30 to 11:30. Meanwhile, the water department will also observe the Customers Appreciation Day & Storage Tank Raffle.
The day will conclude with the Socacize event which starts at 4:30 PM
On Thursday, March 23, the St Kitts water services department will observe the Former Workers Appreciation Day
On Friday, March 24, the water department will host a Staff Retreat & Professional Development Day
On Sunday, March 26, 2023 St Kitts Department of water will host a Staff Appreciation Beachnic for the employees working under them.
Finally, on Tuesday, March 28, the celebrations will conclude with a Prize Giving Ceremony for the competitions hosted at the Primary & High Schools of St Kitts and Nevis.
