Hewlett was a well-known figure in the local sports scene and significantly promoted sports to the country’s households. Hewlett is a retired US Military Veteran. He is one of the sports legends of the country who has worked diligently to promote the value of the country’s sporting sector.
Meanwhile, the deceased was a founding Harmonites Hitters Basketball Club member. He was also a former National Team Player and a dedicated coach at the GOALS Football Academy. He had been the coach for the academy for an extended period.
After he retired from the US Military service, Allister Hewlett returned to his homeland, St Kitts. Following this, he immersed himself in coaching at the GOALS Academy. His passion for sports and commitment to nurturing young talent made him a beloved mentor to many aspiring athletes and an inspiration to the members of the sports fraternity.
The country and the sports fraternity is in a state of shock and grieving the loss of the inspiring sportsman who assisted several families in introducing themselves to the sports section. It is a matter of great tragedy for all the deceased’s families and loved ones. Allister Hewlett passed away during a coaching session at the Newtown Playfield.
