The Ministry of Health in St. Kitts and Nevis is pleased to welcome the four-member delegation from the St. Martin Medical Centre (SMMC) on the island. Their arrival marked a milestone in government’s continued efforts to foster healthcare sector.

The team of medical staff engaged in productive discussions with the senior hospital staff and the officials of health ministry and discussed on the opportunities of networking, cooperation and capacity building for the clinical staff.

It is to be added that the discussions are expected to yield positive results and pave the way for better and advanced medical services. The shared expertise of the SMMC medical staff and doctors will ultimately benefit the citizens.

Curtis Martin, the acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health expressed his gratitude and excitement for the potential avenues of collaboration.

“The exchange of knowledge and expertise with St. Martin Medical Centre is invaluable. We look forward to developing deeper and more meaningful collaborations that will enhance our healthcare system and benefit our clinical staff,” added Martin.

The arrival of SMMC members underscored the importance of healthcare collaboration between the Federation and the reputed medical facility, which will also contribute in the improvement of patient care.

“By working together with SMMC, we can significantly improve patient outcomes. Sharing best practices and advancing our medical knowledge will lead to better, more effective treatments for our people. This partnership represents a commitment to excellence in healthcare for St. Kitts and Nevis,” remarked PS of Health Ministry.
