Soriah Williams-Powell became the newly crowned Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis 2024 on Tuesday at the Carnival Village.
The pageant saw six beautiful, young girls from different schools, competing for the prestigious title and crown of Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis 2024.
The winner, Soriah Williams-Powell who represented Verchilds High School in the pageant fascinated everyone with her grace, beauty and shone brightly in the competition.
Soriah Williams-Powell defeated five others to win Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis
Miss Soriah Williams-Powell earned 692 points and defeated five others to win the prestigious Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis. The other contestants who participated in the competition include,
- Kylah Gerald, Miss Saddlers Secondary School
- Eushadika Frances, Miss Basseterre High School
- Jonesh Rogers, Miss Washington Archibald High School
- Lajunique Boone, Miss Immaculate Conception Catholic High School
- De’ Sheyniah Charles, Miss Cayon High School
The winner, Soriah Williams-Powell was followed by Lajunique Boone, representing ICCS and De’Sheyniah Charles, representing CHS, securing 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
The authorities also appreciated the other two participants, Kylah Gerald and Eushadika Frances for showcasing their remarkable poise and talent throughout the competition.
Officials congratulate newly crowned Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis 2024
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis congratulated the winners and all other ambassadors who did an amazing job in representing their respective Schools in the pageant.
The Minister of Creative Economy, Samal Duggins also lauded the newly crowned Miss Teen 2024. He said that Soriah Williams-Powell has represented his alma mater and the “BEST school in the multiverse, Verchilds High School.”
He further appreciated Soriah Williams-Powell and said that she has brought the fire and made all of them extremely proud.
Deputy Prime Minister, Geoffrey Hanley also congratulated Soriah Williams-Powell and said that she has soared like a hawk in all her glory. He added that the newly crowned Miss Teen was truly stunning who had captivated the hearts of the audience and the judges.
He also extended congratulations and best wishes to the runners up for their determination and hard work.
Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis 2024 a successful event
The Republic Bank Miss Teen St Kitts & Nevis 2024 executed successfully which attracted large number of attendees to the event. Shedding light on the pageant, Minister Duggins said that it was a truly sold-out show which showcased the immense talent and grace of the nation’s youth.
Minister Hanley also lauded the organizers of the event, including, the Carnival Committee and the Creative Economy. He appreciated them for hosting the show which was executed properly.
