St Kitts and Nevis set for surprise arrival of Spirit of Adventure, bringing 1,000 passengers

Spirit of Adventure is all set to make its unscheduled call to St Kitts and Nevis today, aiming to bring around 1000 passengers to the Federation.

This surprise visit by the vessel is expected to bring a remarkable surge in the arrival of passengers, boosting the livelihoods of St Kitts stakeholders, including tour operators, taxi drivers, local artisans, and small business owners.

Passengers onboard the vessel are expected to explore the allure of St Kitts and Nevis, including its rich culture, natural beauty, and diverse tourism experiences.

Spirit of Adventure’s Inaugural Visit to St Kitts and Nevis

The vessel has been in service for three years with St Kitts and Nevis as it made its inaugural visit to the country in December, 2021. The inaugural visit of the vessel was celebrated with a plaque exchange ceremony with the Captain of the luxury cruise ship.

The ceremony was attended by several tourism delegates, including the Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports, Lindsay Grant, CEO of the St. Christopher Air and Sea Port Authority, Ivor Keithley Phillip and the Port Service Manager, Alonzo Alexander and many others.

The vessel brought thousands of enthusiastic passengers, who ventured around the island and explored the attractions of the country.

Spirit of Adventure Features 

Spirit of Adventure is an all-inclusive luxury cruise ship which has been sailing directly from the UK. The vessel has been designed for guests, equipped with advanced facilities and amenities including, a large theatre, all-inclusive bars, a deck, spa and many others.

The Spirit of Adventure is the sister ship of Spirit of Discovery which was delivered in June 2019. The overall length of the ship is 774.3ft with a maximum beam of 102.4ft and gross registered tonnage of 58,250t. The vessel has the facility to accommodate around 517 crew members and 999 guests.

St Kitts and Nevis welcomed 19 cruises

St Kitts and Nevis will welcome around 19 vessels to the shores of the country during this week from Monday, 16th to Sunday, 22nd December, 2024, bringing thousands of passengers to the Federation.

The vessels that are likely to dock at the ports of the country in the coming days include, Costa Fascinosa, Marella Discovery, Le Champlain, Norwegian Viva and Evrima.
