St Kitts and Nevis: The football tournament kicked off on Monday, 20 November, at the Jones Group Limited Schools Open Football event And SKNANB Primary School Soccer Courses, where eight teams qualified for the quarterfinals.
Recapturing the results of the previous tournament in Verchilds, which were as follows:
- Saddlers High School defeated Charles E Mills High School
- Basseterre High School defeated the home team, Verchilds High School
- Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College beat Washington Archibald High School
- CBFC In Nevis, Gingerland High School beat AVEC Gquann Barry
The Quarterfinals and semifinal qualifiers results were as follows:
- Two goals from Angel Archibald lead Irishtown to a two-nil win over Newton Ground Primary and book their place in the semifinal.
- Tyrell Williams Primary beat Edgar T Morris Primary 2-1 to book their place in the semifinals. Shawn Phillips scored the only goal for Edgar T Morris Primary.
- Dieppe Bay Primary School advanced to the semifinals after defeating Sandy Point Primary School. It was 1-1 at the end of normal time when Jayveon Bradshaw scored for Dieppe Bay Primary, and Dieppe Bay got an own goal for Sandy Point.
The teams then went to a shootout, with Dieppe Bay Primary beating Sandy Point Primary 4-3 on penalties. Marcus Warner, Antwon Harvey, Jayveon Bradshaw, and Zayden Benjamin at the Dieppe Bay Primary shootout and Naeem Williams, Jamalji French and Diante Burke at Sandy Point Elementary
Beach Allen Primary defeated Tucker Clarke Primary 7-1. Alijah Mitchum scored four times, and a hat trick from Dequanj Lawrence pushed Beach Allen into the semifinals. Antonio Prescott scored the only goal for Tucker Clarke Primary.
The collective men of the matches for the quarterfinals were as
follows.
- Ianjay Blake – Beach Allen Primary
- Justin Permual – Dieppe Bay Main Event
- Jahmarri Lewis – Tyrell Williams Primary
- Annel Archibald – Irishtown Primary School
The semifinals are set to kick off between Irishtown Primary vs Beach Allen Primary and Tyrell Williams vs Dieppe Bay in the coming days.
