The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, issued an official statement assuring the people of his dedication to fostering peace in the country. Dr. Drew made the statement in the capacity of Minister of National Security and current Chairman of the Regional Security System (RSS).
He has pledged to take the necessary steps to uphold peace and strengthen the security protocols of the nation. In lime with this, he has tasked the Regional Security System to constantly monitor the situation and keep him informed.
Prime Minister Drew is visiting the United Arab Emirates to secure investments and foster better relationships for the country internationally. However, the developments back home are constantly on his mind.
Accordingly, he lent his support to the security forces working tirelessly to ensure the safety, security and overall well-being of the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis. He noted that the government prioritizes the safety and security of the people.
The Prime Minister claimed that they are providing all the necessary resources needed by the authorities to maintain peace within the communities.
He condemned the elements who have been disrupting peace in the community with their activities. He has claimed that he would leave no stone unturned to find a lasting solution to the issue.
The Prime Minister has reiterated the ‘Zero Tolerance Policy’ for the safety, security and fostering peace among the people of St. Kitts and Nevis. He said that they need to put in place some strong policies to ensure that the people can live their lives free of insecurity.
In his official statement as the Minister of National Security, he tasked the security agencies to work hard to maintain peace in the nation. In the meantime, he pledged that he and his administration will continue to work for the development of the country.
Currently PM Terrance Drew is in Dubai to look into partnerships for the Geothermal Energy Project.
