Prime Minister of Saint Kitts & Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew recently visited CDA Technical Institute in the West Indies. He was accompanied by Austin Edinborough, the advisor in the Prime Minister’s office. The purpose of their visit was to inspect the hyperbaric chambers. The tour was carried out by the owner/ director of the hyperbaric chamber, Captain Ray Black, and CEO McClean Hobson.

During the tour, PM and his team examined the functioning of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This therapy brought out the new idea that involves breathing 100% pure oxygen, within a pressurized hyperbaric chamber, bringing innovational changes in medical treatment.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing 100% free and pure oxygen in a special place called a hyperbaric chamber. The air pressure inside is raised to a level that is higher than normal. The increased air pressure in the chamber helps the lungs to collect more oxygen.

St Kitts and Nevis will boast the world’s largest collection of hyperbaric chambers. The institute aims to come up with revolutionary changes in the healthcare system of St Kitts and Nevis.

The institute organized a symposium to collaborate closely with the government of St Kitts and Nevis to bring about effective changes in medical treatment. These chambers will be leveraged to address critical health issues, including diabetic complications such as poor circulation and ulcerated feet. The chamber will also treat conditions like carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, gas gangrene, and radiation injury.

Such an initiative states the great work of the Prime Minister of the country for its development. The people even expressed their pleasure and congratulated them.

“ Congratulations, Great Progress,” mentioned one of the netizens. Such a comment is the epitome that people are happy with the innovative changes brought up by the government for the country’s benefit.
