Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Terrance Drew is pleased to welcome a group of new medical specialists and surgeons to JNF General Hospital. Their arrival marked a milestone in PM Drew’s continued efforts to enhance the healthcare system.

The leaders in St Kitts and Nevis, along with the Ministry of Health, are continuing to work to address the specific healthcare needs of people in the Federation. PM ensures accessible, comprehensive and high-quality medical services to its citizens.

Notably, several specialists have been appointed for the first time in the history of Joseph N France (JNF) General Hospital. The doctors who are introduced to the family of JNF Facility are as follows:

– The hospital welcomed the arrival of the first-ever Endocrinologist (diabetes and hormone doctor)
– The staff included the first-ever Neurologist (brain and nerve doctor)
– JNF Facility welcomes 3 renowned Anaesthesiologists for the first time in history
– 2 Paediatricians
– The authorities approached 4 Gynaecologists and 3 Surgeons
– The hospital achieved a milestone as it has appointed 7 Radiographers, which is the highest number ever
– Emergence of Psychologist to strengthen the mental health care of the patients

PM Drew expressed his commitment to pay much-needed attention to the maintenance of the hospital, which is considered the best and most prominent hospital in the nation. He hailed the presence of newly appointed doctors as a step towards the recognition.

Further, he announced the forthcoming rise of JNF in healthcare. Under the leadership of the prime minister, the JNF facility experienced a significant improvement in a short span of time.

The progress report of the most renowned hospital shows the dedication and hard work of the government of St Kitts and Nevis in strengthening the medical facility for the well-being of the people.

The people across the nation are lauding the tireless efforts of PM Drew and his government in providing them with advanced medical services.
