A businessman in St. Kitts and Nevis was found dead on November 17.
Mr. Lincoln Liburd, who was 56 years old, was found shot dead in Zetlands Village, Gingerland, Nevis.
This year’s murder toll has risen to 21 with this incident.
Murder numbers in St. Kitts and Nevis have steadily risen each year since 2012. In both 2015 and 2016, 30 murders were reported for each year.
Over the weekend, there were also shooting incidents in Cotton Ground, Nevis and Dieppe Bay, St. Kitts.
