Saudi’s Sleeping Prince Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud has died at the age of 36 years old in the medical facility where he has been staying for several years. The prince of Saudi, who was in a devastating accident twenty years previously had finally breathed his last.
The Prince spent twenty years in a coma after he sustained severe brain injuries in a car accident in 2005. At the time of the accident, the Saudi Arabia Prince was studying at a military college in London.
The prince spent two decades in a state of coma after his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud declined to take him off life support. The sleeping prince spent years in a specialised medical facility on life support before he died in the same facility.
The prince stayed at the King Abdulaziz Medical City in the Saudi city of Riyadh till his death on Saturday, July 19. The father of the sleeping prince Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud shared the news of his son’s death on social media with a black and white photo and a caption.
According to Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, the funeral for the sleeping prince will be held on July 20. Over the last twenty years of Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud being in a coma his father continued to share images of the boy on social media.
