The JNF General Hospital, which serves as the primary healthcare Center for St Kitts, organized the Employee Awards Ceremony. This is the inaugural edition of the awards night which will be hosted two times every year.
On Monday July 7, the high level management of the JNF General Hospital honored twenty two domestic and support staff. These staff members were honored for their dedication to the service of the people.
The event was hosted on the lawn outside the administration block at the JNF General Hospital with several healthcare stakeholders in attendance. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Mr Curtis Martin also applauded the staff for their contribution to the standard of healthcare in St Kitts and Nevis.
The organization has shared that the recipients of the honor were also given certificates of appreciation for their service. The domestic and support staff have been working hard to maintain a standard of healthcare and hygiene.
The JNF General Hospital staff has been working hard to make sure that the best service is available to the people of the country. The officials have shared that the employees of the half year are not only people who meet expectations but those who exceed them.
The stakeholders of the JNF General Hospital have claimed that the members of the staff have gone above and beyond for their service to the community. Event chairman made these remarks during the first of the semi yearly awards event and lauded all the members of staff who received recognition.
She further noted that the staff members have shown their dedication to the service of the people in not only completing their assigned tasks, but also actively trying to do good for the people. The JNF staff has been dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the people.
Out of the total number of awardees, 16 staff members came from the JNF General Hospital, while the rest came from Pogson Medical Centre in Sandy Point, Mary Charles Hospital in Molineux, and the Cardin Home.
