Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: The Citizenship by Investment programme is progressing rapidly under the leadership of its head- Michael Martin. He has taken significant innovative steps to positioned the programme as an ideal option for the investors.

He is making significant strides to strengthen the due diligence procedures and robust background checks. In this process, the background of the individual is thoroughly checked before granting and rejecting the citizenships.

It allows the CBI programme to maintain its integrity, and transparency. The success of the due diligence signals the untiring efforts and dedication of CIU Head Martin, which has resulted in the growth of the programme.

He assured that every individual must undergo a precise surveillance to ensure that the citizenship is acquired by responsible and honest applicant.

Notably, the Citizenship by Investment Programme of the twin-island Federation offers various advantages and benefits to the high-net-worth individuals and potential stakeholders such as:

  • Invest with efficiency
  • Alternative citizenship
  • Business association
  • Safe and secure environment
  • Better healthcare and education facilities
  • Political stability

It is to be added that four OECS jurisdictions have asked CBI programmes to increase the investment limit to US$2,00,000 and they have also signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). The participating Caribbean countries included Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, and Dominica.

Since the appointment of CIU Head Martin in December 2022, the twin-island Federation has experienced a significant growth in its investors. He expressed his commitment to work consistently for the development of the programme.

St. Kitts and Nevis positioned as Number 1 CBI Programme in the CBI Index 2023 and secured a remarkable 10 scores in the due diligence procedure.

The procedures like background checks and robust interviews upraised the standards of the industry, leaving behind all other industry keyholders. Moreover, the government utilises the revenue generated by the programme to enhance and develop the infrastructure like hospitals, schools and roads.
