St. Kitts and Nevis: The government of St. Kitts and Nevis has shared the artist rendition video of the Climate-Smart Basseterre High School which demonstrates the overall infrastructure of the facility.
The construction of this school is one of the capital projects of the government of twin-island nation to upgrade the public infrastructure of the country and continues sustainable practices to mitigate the environmental impacts.
The school aims to promote the eco-awareness among the students. The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew has always been active in developing the infrastructure of the nation and this is another significant move by him towards promoting sustainable living.
The new state-of-the-art Basseterre Senior High School will focus on the upliftment of the children in every aspect of their development. It will enable them to compete with others around the country and the globe.
The Government of the twin-island Federation is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the students will have access to education, so they will secure better future for themselves.
Recently, the Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Geoffrey Hanley expressed his excitement for the construction of climate-smart school.
“My excitement about this sustainable initiative cannot be contained. Your SKNLP government is working to ensure our students are equipped to contribute to nation-building so that they can secure a better future for themselves and their families,” added DY PM Hanley.
It is to be noted that following the construction of the school, the children of the country will have an opportunity to enhance their learning skills with new and modern technologies in their education.
The government is currently focusing to bring advancement in the infrastructure of St. Kitts and Nevis and wave a path of sustainability. The school will consist a library, a resource centre, teacher’s lounges, counselling and health service facilities among other.
