The federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis started their visits of the Primary Schools which are part of the Independence Day Calendar in St Kitts and Nevis. The full cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Dr Geoffrey Hanley started their tours with the East Zone of the region.
The officials have shared that the members of the Federal Cabinet visited several schools and visited the students and managements of theses schools. The Ministers of Government and invited ambassadors visited the schools on the National Colors Day.
The list of the schools that the cabinet members and ambassadors visited as part of their annual visits included:
- SKI Academy
- Violet Petty Primary
- Cotton-Thomas Comprehensive (Estridge Campus)
- Cayon Primary School
- Dieppe Bay Primary School
- Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary
- Edgar T. Morris Primary
- Saddlers Primary
- The school managements were happy to host the members of the Cabinet for their visit.
The cabinet members took the opportunity to speak to the people of St Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that they were delighted to be able to interact and encourage the students.

During the visits, the Ministers of St Kitts and Nevis spoke about the country’s ASPIRE programme. The officials have shared that the programme has helped several students make smart financial discussions.
The officials have shared that the government will be working with the students to make sure that they can make sure that they have the funds to give themselves the opportunity to create a good financial future. The officials have shared that the ASPIRE Programme has been working with the members of the community to teach children the habit of saving and investing smartly.
